The Details tab is a project's system of record β all of its field data, organized into category tabs (General, Scope, Design, Accounting, HOA, Utility, AHJ, Scheduling, and more). Switch categories on the left, edit any field, and changes save automatically.

Project Details β category tabs on the left, editable fields on the right.
The left-hand menu lists every category configured for the department (General, Scope, Design, Accounting, HOA, Utility, AHJ, Schedulingβ¦). Selecting one shows just that category's fields, and the active category is kept in the page URL so the exact view can be shared. A red flag appears on the Accounting tab when the project's loan is flagged at risk.

Selecting a category (here Accounting) loads that category's fields. Every category the department has configured β General, Scope, Accounting, HOA, and more β appears in the left-hand menu.
Fields render according to their type β text, long text, number, dropdown (single or multi-select), date picker, and user/team pickers. Edit a value and it saves automatically when you move off the field (a small spinner shows while it saves). URLs typed into text fields become clickable links, and required fields are marked with an asterisk.

Click a field to edit it. Dropdowns open a searchable list; text, number, date, and user fields each render their own control. Edits auto-save when you click away.
Some fields are customer-facing or set up to copy to the project's Pulse. When you edit one, Sunrise asks you to confirm before saving β for example "Customers will see your entry," or offering to copy the note to Pulse β so sensitive updates are always intentional.

Editing a customer-facing field prompts a confirmation β 'Customers will see your entry.' Copy-to-Pulse fields show a similar Yes/No prompt to also post the note to the project's Pulse feed.
