๐Ÿ“ Overview

Banners are the bold, colored labels (each with an icon) shown next to a project's name in the header. They call out the most important things about a project at a glance โ€” its financing, risks, holds, and special situations. Some banners are applied automatically from the project's data; others are added by hand.

Banners are the icon pills beside the project name (removable with โœ•) โ€” here 30% FTC, Social Media, and VIP. The chips on the right are tags, a separate system.

๐Ÿท๏ธ Banners vs. Tags

Banners are easy to confuse with tags, but they're different. Banners are the icon labels right beside the project name (the โœ•-removable pills above). Tags are the smaller chips in the panel to the right. Banners are a short, curated set of high-signal flags; tags are the many automatic labels derived from field values (region, utility, equipment, metering, and so on).

โž• Adding & Removing Banners

Click + Add Banner in the project header, check the banners you want, and click Apply. To remove a banner, click the โœ• on its pill. Adding or removing banners requires the Project Labels permission. Automatic banners (below) can't be added or removed by hand โ€” they follow the project's data.

The Add Banner dialog โ€” check the manual banners you want and click Apply. Automatic banners (leases, Loan Risk, TXU) aren't listed here because the system manages them.

โš™๏ธ How Banners Are Applied

Every banner reaches a project by one of three paths:

๐Ÿ”— Banners on Related Projects

A few banners carry over to a project's related projects โ€” for example, a residential project's Legal, Escalation, Not Serviceable, Roof Leak, or lease banner also appears on its related Service tickets. These are: Not Serviceable, Legal, Roof Leak, Escalation, and the lease / TXU banners.
