📝 Overview

The Search tool at the top of the left navigation finds any project across the app, fast. Type a Project ID, name, email, phone, or address and jump straight to the project — no matter which department it's in.

Search for a name, email, phone, or address — matching text is highlighted, and results span every department.

💡 What You Can Do

• Open search from anywhere — the Search item sits at the top of the left navigation on every page
• Search across everything — Project ID, customer name, email, phone, or address
• See matches highlighted — your search term is highlighted in each result
• Jump to a project — click a result to open it

🔎 Opening Search

Click Search at the top of the left navigation to open the search window. The cursor lands in the box automatically, so you can start typing right away. Press Esc (or click outside the window) to close it.

Click Search in the left nav to open the search window; the cursor is ready for you to type.

🔤 What You Can Search By

Search matches across several fields at once, so you can find a project however you remember it:

• Project ID — e.g., 120332
• Customer name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Street address

Results update as you type, and searching by Project ID jumps right to the exact project.
