📝 Overview

The PV System tab is where the solar design lives — the equipment, the array layout, and the resulting production estimate. You can enter it by hand or pull it straight from an Aurora design.

💡 What You Can Do

• Sync the design from Aurora, or set it manually.
• Choose the panels, inverter, monitoring, and racking.
• Describe the site with a set of yes/no flags.
• Review the production estimate and offset, and lay out panel arrays.

🔗 Pull From Aurora

The buttons across the top connect the proposal to an Aurora design. Create or link an Aurora Project, open the Aurora Design or Shade Report, and click Sync Design with Aurora to pull the panel count, layout, and production into the proposal automatically.

☀️ Equipment

Choose the system hardware: Panel Type, Inverter Type (with Inverter Quantity), Monitoring Device, and Racking System.

🏠 Site Details

A row of flags describes the install — Panels on Main Home, Panels on Multiple Structures, Trenching Required, Existing 3rd Party PV System, Existing 3rd Party Battery, and Service Greater than 200A. Each has a ? tooltip explaining when to use it.

⚡ Production

Set the Production Method (e.g. Aurora orPV Watts) to see the estimated annual Production and the Offset — the share of the customer's usage the system covers.

🧭 Panel Arrays

Add one or more arrays with the + button. Each array captures its Panels (count), Azimuth, Tilt, and Solar Access.
