The Proposal Builder is where a proposal comes together. You open it from a customer's page, then work across a row of tabs — from the customer Inputs through the PV System design and pricing to the customer-facing Proposal and the signed Contract. Everything about a single proposal lives here.

From a customer's page, find the proposal in their Proposal List and click the Open Proposal (folder) button. The proposal opens as a tab in the top bar, and a breadcrumb shows the customer, proposal name, and status. The running Payment Option, Panel Type, and System Size stay pinned along the bottom.
The tab bar runs across the top of every open proposal — each tab is one stage of building the deal:

| Inputs | The customer and system details that drive the proposal — payment option, promotions, discounts, rebates, and adders. (Covered in its own article.) |
| PV System | Design the solar array — panel and inverter types and quantities, monitoring, racking, the production estimate, and Aurora design sync. |
| HVAC | Configure an HVAC system when the deal includes electrification. |
| Consumption | Review the customer's energy usage and how the proposed system offsets it. |
| Documents | Interconnection and permit documents, DocuSign envelopes, and contract attachments. |
| Proposal | The customer-facing summary — system overview, financials, and savings. |
| Contract | Generate and manage the purchase or lease agreement. |
| Lightreach | Third-party financing (Lightreach / Palmetto) — set up the financing account, pull pricing, create a quote, and send the customer their application and disclosures. |
| Generator Contract | Generate the contract for a standby generator add-on (e.g. Generac). |
| Maintenance Agreement | Set up the ongoing maintenance / service-plan agreement for the system. |
| Service Quote | Build a line-item quote for a service ticket — repairs, de-install / re-install, and warranty work. |
| Change Orders | Make post-signature changes to a closed proposal. |
Not every tab appears on every proposal. Inputs, PV System, Consumption, Documents, Proposal, Contract, and Change Orders are part of a standard solar proposal. HVAC, Lightreach, Generator Contract, Maintenance Agreement, and Service Quote appear only when they apply — for electrification, third-party financing, a generator or maintenance add-on, or a service ticket.
Open any proposal from a customer's Proposal List to enter the Proposal Builder.
