Audience: Sales reps. This explains how the Proposal Tool decides which inverters pair with which panels, and which batteries work with which inverters — and how to check a specific pairing or request a new one.
You don't have to memorize a compatibility chart — the tool enforces it for you. Compatibility is configured on each piece of equipment, and the proposal builder only shows you valid combinations:
So the authoritative "matrix" is the tool itself: the options it lets you pick are the approved ones. This page explains how to read that and what to do when something you expect isn't there.
Each panel in the catalog carries its own list of compatible inverters:
In the tool: on the PV System tab, set the Panel, then open the Inverter dropdown — it's already filtered to that panel's approved inverters. Changing the panel can change the inverter automatically.
<aside> 💡 If you don't see the inverter you expect: it isn't on that panel's approved list (or not for the selected lender). This isn't a toggle you can flip on the proposal — the pairing has to be added to the catalog. See Requesting a new pairing below.
