The recruiting board — moving people from first contact to hired, and kicking off onboarding.
Who & where
Staff with candidates.view/candidates.manage, Candidates tab (/admin/candidates).
Happy path
- Candidates are grouped into buckets — Lead · Applicant · Interview · Offer · Hired · Archived — each tab showing a live count. Within a bucket, people are grouped by stage.

The pipeline, Applicant bucket. Cards show the person, the role, and the source.
- Add candidate opens a dialog: name (required), contact details, and an optional opportunity (pick a job + source) so they enter the pipeline attached to a role.
- Clicking a candidate opens their profile: contact info, their opportunities (applications), and a stage dropdown on each. Change the stage to advance them.

A candidate profile with their opportunity and stage control.
- Hiring: move an opportunity into the Hired bucket. If they have no onboarding yet, a celebration dialog fires — “… is hired!” — and an onboarding record is auto-created. From there, Go to onboarding jumps you to the hire's checklist to send their welcome invite.
Issues that may arise
- No Candidates tab? You lack the
candidates permission — ask an admin.
- Hired but no welcome sent. Hiring only creates the onboarding record; it does not email the hire. You still open Onboarding and send the invite explicitly (see the Onboarding page).
- Candidate-only records. You can add someone without a job (leave the opportunity blank) — useful for sourcing — but they won't sit in a role's pipeline until you add an opportunity.
- Interview scheduling appears on the profile only if you have the interviews permission.
