The Commercial PO tab is a mini-app for building and managing purchase orders on commercial jobs. It's visible only to whitelisted users (see 2. Signing In & Access Levels).
Browsing POs (list)
The default screen is Commercial POs, live from NetSuite, with the count in the subtitle. Residential, Commercial and Service now share one page layout: the same header, filters, table and status colors.

The Commercial PO list: search, vendor, status and date filters, and one row per PO.
- Search project ID or name, then filter by Vendor, Status, and a From / To PO date range.
- Columns: PROJECT ID, PROJECT NAME, VENDOR, PO DATE (click to sort), STATUS, AMOUNT.
- Status tags: amber for Pending Receipt and Partially Received, blue for Pending Bill, green for Fully Billed, gray for Closed.
- Click any row to open its detail.
- NEW PO starts a new one; DRAFTS opens saved drafts.
Creating a PO
NEW PO opens New commercial PO (a draft opens as Edit draft PO). It now works like the Manual and Service forms: fill in the details and lines, watch the summary bar, and review before anything is created.

New commercial PO: draft name, vendor and project, a line row, and the summary bar listing what's missing.
- (Optional) give it a Draft name. You need one to save a draft.
- Pick a Vendor (Search vendors: the named commercial vendors, plus NetSuite-approved vendors).
- Pick a Commercial project (Search COM-… or name).
- Add Lines: Item, Description (actual part) (the field suggests parts for the item's category), Qty and Rate, then ADD. Lines are "Priced from the vendor quote", and the summary bar shows the total.
- The summary bar lists what's missing (Pick a vendor, Pick a project, Add a line). SAVE DRAFT (or UPDATE DRAFT on an open draft) keeps it for later.
- Click REVIEW AND CREATE, check the review, then CREATE PO to push it to NetSuite.
On create, the PO is made in NetSuite, a note is posted to the Sunrise project, and any matching draft is cleared.
